Balangir: Woman critical after gas cylinder of Ambulance explodes

Titilagarh: In a shocking and rare incident, a woman sustained critical injury after the gas cylinder of the 108 Ambulance in which twin new born babies were being shifted to hospital, exploded in Balangir district of Odisha today morning. The incident took place at the MCH in Titilagarh.
The injured woman has been identified as Dwitiya Bhoi.
As per reports, last night, Radha Jani of Chikni Bahali village under Muribahal block was admitted to MCH Titilagarh. She gave birth to twin baby girls in the early morning.
Later, while the new-born twin was being shifted from Titilagarh MCH (Mother and Child Hospital) to Balangir hospital, the oxygen cylinder of the 108 Ambulance exploded at the MCH Titilagarh.
The oxygen gas cylinder blast has left one woman critical. The father of the children was slightly injured. Fortunately, the newborn baby girls narrowly escaped. They were unhurt.
